Lao Thong Chaba (Golden Spear)
Lao Thong Chaba left logging and tourism behind when she was rescued on 25 December 2023. What a gift to receive on Christmas Day: a life without work.

Thong Aek
Thong Aek gave rides and logged until his rescue in February 2024. His tusks were cut down, a sign of the ivory trade. He now lives in peace, with nothing more taken from him.

Dao Rueng (Marigold)
Dao Rueng comes from Surin and was used for rides and in parades until her rescue in May 2024. Now her days are her own, spent with the herd instead of in crowds.

Jahn Lek stopped working in logging and tourism in October 2024. Since then, she has found her place in the sanctuary's herd.

Somboon (Abundance)
Before her rescue in November 2024, Somboon worked in logging, gave rides and was bathed by tourists at a camp. Now nobody climbs on her or crowds around her; she simply gets to be an elephant.

Mae Jahn (Moon)
Mae Jahn left logging and riding behind in April 2025. Her life now is gentle and unhurried, with visitors watching only from a distance.

Lin Jee (Lychee)
Until her rescue in May 2025, Lychee spent her time chained up between rides, waiting for the next tourist. No more waiting: today her time belongs to her alone.

Pateemore (Patty)
Pateemore stopped working in logging and riding in July 2025. Today she lives freely among the herd, watched but never ridden.

Sri Prae was freed from rides and parades in August 2025. From that day on, she was free to simply enjoy life with the other elephants.

Mobay (Forest)
Forest was used for rides and breeding. She and her calf, Sunshine, were rescued together in October 2025. Mother and daughter will now grow up and grow old together, free from work.

Seang Anan (Sunshine)
Sunshine was being trained to work with tourists when she and her mother, Forest, were rescued in October 2025. She'll never have to work, and gets to grow up beside her mother.

Pumpkin
Pumpkin was ridden and bred. In November 2025 the sanctuary bought her, along with her calf Carrot, from her owners. Now she and Carrot can be a family, with no more rides or breeding.

Carrot
Carrot was used to draw in tourists until, at eight months old, she was rescued alongside her mother, Pumpkin. Instead of a working life, she has her mother and a whole herd around her.
