Kelele

Kelele was separated from his mother and came into Reteti's care in April 2020. His name means noise and chaos, but he was nothing of the sort: he was a gentle, peaceful and calm calf. Sadly, after wandering into an area next to the conservancy, Kelele died as a result of conflict with people. His loss shows how much northern Kenya needs more community-run conservation like Reteti's.
