Metumi

Metumi's mother died because of conflict between people and wildlife, and Metumi came to Reteti in June 2019. Bursting with energy and wonderfully generous with it, she was a joy to watch grow up. She was the last of the older herd to set off on her own, holding on to her bond with the keepers a little longer than the rest, and she has since grown into a quiet, steady strength.
